Jane Hanson - ceramics

 

Jane studied ceramics at the Royal College of Art having done a first degree in industrial design in her native South Africa. Fascinated with the endless possibilities for colour and texture, she experiments continually with her glazes, painting them in layers that flow together at temperatures round 1300°C, on functional pottery. Jane has exhibited in London, Winchester, York, Cambridge, Oxford and many other rural towns, in one-woman shows and group exhibitions.
